Mentoring Leadership Program
Mentoring Leadership Program
MLP is composed of 30 to 35 creative, goal-driven undergraduates who enthusiastically dedicate themselves to acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to provide valuable leadership for the entire BC community. Its mission is to proactively introduce first-year students to the undergraduate government, academic departments, university offices, and beliefs that compose the community of BC, providing guidance and assistance in learning about and becoming a part of UGBC.
Boston College thrives on student leadership, and that leadership blossoms in the Mentoring Leadership Program. The current MLP Directors hope to bring together a diverse group of talented, passionate, and goal-driven freshmen who are dedicated to leadership and service within the BC community and beyond. Through mentoring partnerships, structured guidance, and hands-on experience, the class of 2014 can become the next student leaders at Boston College.
Applications will be available at UGBC.org and at Student Activities Day on September 10, 2010 in the Dustbowl.

MLP helped introduce me to a new network of friends to rely on, which really made my freshman year amazing.
Being involved in MLP helped me to easily transition into college by getting involved in a great leadership organization that allowed me to voice my opinion and meet some great upperclassmen and freshman alike who shared my desire to make BC the best possible place.
